Best Buddies Quarter Auction

Best Buddies is an international non-profit organization  whose mission is establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one  friendships, integrated employment, leadership development, inclusive living, and family support for  individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). We have a chapter of Best Buddies  at Wooster High School, where high school students with and without intellectual and developmental  disabilities are matched in one-to-one friendships for at least one academic year. Best Buddies chapters are self-sufficient and must  gather the funds and supplies needed for activities. Due to circumstances such as socioeconomic status, transportation needs, employment, and other barriers that arise with disabilities, we do not ask members to pay a fee in order to participate in our club. Join us for our first quarter auction to raise funds for our members!

When: Sunday December 1st. Doors open at 1:00. Auction starts at 2:00.

Where: First Presbyterian Church 621 College Ave, Wooster, OH 44691

Quarter auctions operate similar to a silent auction or bingo, where items are up for raffle and won based on a game of chance. Here's how to play:

Purchase Entry Ticket

  • $10 general admission- 2-3 rolls of quarters recommended for bidding

  • $40 all-in admission- no quarters needed.  You are ‘in’ for all items!

Place your bids throughout the event

  • An event program will summarize all item donations and bid amounts

Win!

  • Place quarters in the bucket on your table and raise your paddle to be “in” for an item.  If they draw your number- you win!
