The Leader in Me

The Leader in Me is taught in grades Pre K- 6.. Teaching students a process that promotes the concept that all students are leaders of their own lives. They are being taught the seven habits: Be Proactive, Begin with the End in Mind, Put First Things First, Think Win-Win, Seek First to Understand, Then to be Understood, Synergize, Sharpen the Saw.

Our school community serves students in kindergarten through fourth grade. During classroom instruction, student needs are met by a staff who are very passionate about education, and expects and encourages the best each and every day!

Melrose parents are crucial members of our school community. Countless volunteers work with students in classrooms every day, as well as with outside groups and activities. Parent and family involvement are a crucial component of student success. The support and encouragement our students receive from home truly makes the difference!
