Instructional Technology

The Wooster City Schools employs three Technology Resource Teachers (TRTs) that are certified staff members with masters degrees in Instructional Technology. Our TRTs serve as the technology coach in our buildings assisting teachers in implementing a technology-rich curriculum and bringing new and innovative technology into the hands of our students.

The Wooster City School District is a Mac District!
Students in each school building use both mobile lab laptop carts and iOS devices. Our certified teaching staff members are issued MacBook Pro laptops.

Google Apps for Education

Every student receives a Wooster City Schools Google Apps for Education account. Students learn how to use their Google account in grades 2-4.

Technology Safety and Curriculum

Student safety and data privacy are a priority in the Wooster City Schools. View our Technology Safety page for information on our technology safety curriculum and what apps are used with students in the district.
Students in Grades K-6 learn technology skills and safety in both library technology time and during 5th and 6th grade computer class. The two documents below show the state technology and computer science standards addressed during these lessons. Sources for the lessons are also included.
